Long before the start of your Weddingmoon Vacation, we would have been extremely busy working hand-in-hand with the owners, managers and supporting staff of the various hotels, restaurants, tours and sundry events, to craft a wedding and honeymoon extravaganza tailored to excite not only your individual tastes, but also, your special desires as a couple. This is a highly customized and truly magical sojourn. You will met at your place of residents or if you are from out of Auckland, the airport, and transported in luxury to your hotel, which will ensure that the journey starts on a high note, right from the beginning.

The Māori name for Auckland is Tāmaki. Among the many versions is Tāmaki-makau-rau (City of a hundred lovers), referring to the desirable, fertile site at the hub of a network of waterways, taking travelers north and south, east and west. For centuries different groups flourished, cohabited and displaced each other in turn.

Unpack and freshen up a bit before heading to the Auckland registrar office of births, deaths and marriages, to pick up and sign the official intent of marriage form.
After the legalities are done, we'll drive you to the restaurant. Enjoy the trip while sipping on champagne or a local wine served in engraved, personalized crystal wedding flutes to mark this special occasion.

Your hosts, Corinna and Leron (Co-Founders of Weddingmoon Vacations), would like to welcome you into their Whanau (family), and the time honored tradition of sharing kai (food) is the best way possible. They will join you at Sails Restaurant where you will partake in great food and fantastic conversation.
There are very few views in the world that capture the essence of Auckland City better than the one from Sails Restaurant. The restaurant is situated in the heart of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest marina, Westhaven, so every table looks out over thousands of yachts. Beyond this sea of masts sits the Auckland Harbor Bridge, North Head and Rangitoto Island — the view that is the City of Sails.
