Observation Rock is situated in what the locals call "one of the most beautiful locations on the island". The lodge overlooks Paterson Inlet and has stunning views of the water and mountain. It is set in park-like private gardens with an abundance of native wildlife and plant life. 

The lodge features two guest rooms, that have a contemporary charm, with an elegant blend of European design and natural elements. The lounge area has exclusive panoramic sea views for you to take in as you relax by the fire. In the evening you can have a wonderful soak in the open-air hot tub, using fresh water with no chemicals and heated by a wood-burning fire.

Your room has a spacious treetop balcony with an amazing vista of the ocean and bush-clad ranges.

There is free Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay, with a courtesy shuttle pick up from the Depot of Stewart Island Flights.
